On January 20, 2024, the final of the first "Xingshan Cup" University Application Challenge was held in Beijing, and the "Transformer Team" of Harbin Institute of Technology won the first prize.

The 2023 first "Star Cup" University Application Challenge was fully sponsored by Triductor Technology and other entities. It commenced in June 2023. Participation was restricted to undergraduate students and first-year graduate students from colleges and universities. A total of 103 teams, comprising over 300 participants, registered from 6 universities nationwide. Following three rounds of mentor training, team preparation, and regional preliminaries, 8 teams from 6 universities across the country stood out and qualified for the national finals, where they competed for the top three "Star Cup" awards.

Zhang Xiaogang, Honorary Chairman of the International Star Alliance and former Chairman of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Shi Jinglin, Chairman of the International Star Alliance and Researcher of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wan Lei, Vice Chairman of the International Star Alliance and Fellow of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and Zheng Yu, an expert of Chuangyao Technology, attended the finals.

The finals were exhilarating and filled with highlights. After a comprehensive competition of three stages,namely:"surrounding evalsuation," "on-site operation," and "plan defense," the "Transformer Team" from Harbin Institute of Technology ultimately emerged victorious, defeating other teams with their impressive defense and flawless on-site control. They won the first prize in the 2023 First"Xingshan Cup" College Application Challenge. The second prize was awarded to "Team" from Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai Campus, and the "1504 Ders Team" from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Campus. The third prize winners included the "NAME Team" from Beijing Institute of Technology, the "Jilin University Intelligent Control Team," the "Xiu Yu Shen Team" from Zhejiang University, the "Not So Team" from Chongqing University, and the "Taking Names is Difficult 555 Team" from Tsinghua University.

Shenzhen IGRS, Zhongke Jingshang, Triductor Technology Technology, Botai Internet of Vehicles and Huawei Technologies provided full support for the competition as sponsors. The competition cars were provided by Hangzhou Xingbei, while the surround view splicing camera systems were supplied by Yingjia Technology. Before the finals, representatives from the sponsors expressed their sincere expectations to all the racers. Instructors from each participating school took the opportunity to share their competition experiences with the students, urging them to persist in their technical pursuits, diligently study, and refine their core technical competencies. At the conclusion of the competition, the students from all the teams presented flowers to their diligent instructors as a token of their gratitude.
